The Mysteries In Colour ™ process takes advantage of the neuroscience psychological phenomenon called Pareidolia. Pareidolia (per-ˌī-ˈdō-lē-ə) is our tendency to see familiar shapes in a random visual pattern and objects. Seeing a dragon in a patch of clouds, a face on burnt toast, a guitar in a constellation of stars, a smiley in your coffee are examples of Pareidolia.
Each colourful mystery inkblot in the workbook is waiting to be deciphered and bought to life with your imagination.
Pick an inkblot and engage your imagination to discover clues to familiar forms like faces, humans, animals, flowers or other objects. Others may no see the same thing you see because of their perspective.
Once you find a hint of something familiar, use colour pencils to define and reveal the form so that others can also see it.
You are free to create what your imagination discovers, there are no lines to colour within. No artistic skill are required; all you need is your imagination and colour pencils.
Everyone has an artist within; this art workbook should help you discover your creative self. Whether you are a skilled artist or someone who has never created art, solving the colourful mysteries in this book, with clues only you can see,
should be a mindful and creative experience.
Let’s start your journey of mindfulness and creativity.
